On April 4 in 2004, Bisping made his professional debut in mixed martial arts in Pride & Glory 2: Battle of the Ages, taking down Steve Mathews through 0:38 submission. On the 29th of January of 2005 Bisping did the Cage boxing debut with David Brown in a light heavyweight bout in The Ultimate Fight Club UK Natural Instinct. Due to the fact that Brown was severely injured, Bisping won through a medical stoppage in round 2.
On April 30 2005 Bisping was the first to debut with the company in Ultimate Force, defeating Dave Radford to claim an uncontested Cage Warriors light heavyweight championship. In May of 2005 Bisping was a participant in a cage kickboxing contest of light heavyweight against Cyrille Diabate in CWFC: Strike Force 1 and lost by an uncontained decision at the end of the first round.

Bisping revealed in April 6th, 2016 that he had been selected to play in the movie XXX Return of Xander Cage. In the following the same month Bisping revealed that he enjoys the 90s-era TV show Twin Peaks & that he was offered a small part in the sequel to 2017.
