Gideon Achile Attah (born September 27, 1995) is a rapidly growing Afrobeats musician within the Nigerian music business. A talented songwriter and singer He is professionally known as the son of Attah.

The aspiring musician began his career in 2013 when he released the first single of his song ” Be Painstaking.” The track brought him to the music industry and set the stage for the popularity of his debut project, an EP entitled ” Don Jazzy Said He Can’t Sign Me,” which came out on September 10, 2020.

Son of Attah was born to his parents from the Igala family belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Attah in Jos, the capital city of Jos located in Plateau state. His birth was on the 27th of October, 1995. He was given the name Gideon Achile Attah by his parents.

The family was born in Jos with his four siblings. He comes from Kogi State. It is the fourth member of the same family. He is from a Christian origin and was able to learn about biblical doctrines at an early age.

Son of Attah‘s path to becoming an upcoming music sensation began at the age of ten years old. He started singing at the age of ten as a member of the choir at the local church where he had family members. As a member of the choir, He also joined the drama section, bringing the gospel by presenting dramatic performances.

Though he loved gospel music, Son Of Attah was able to decide early that he was going to produce popular music. While listening to musicians who sang songs like Fela Kuti and D’Banj Sound Sultan, 2Baba developed an interest in Afrobeats inside his soul. To improve his songwriting and singing skills and improve his songwriting skills, he became a member of the Ball Everyday Cliq‘s Music Club (BEC). As part of the BEC the singer wrote numerous songs and appeared at local music events as well as carnivals and festivals showing his talents in front of a wider crowd.

It was 2013 when Son of Attah began his journey as a professional performer after he released the single Be Painful. The singer collaborated with two other musicians on the track, Doug G and James Abraham, with whom he received the songwriting and production credits.

Be The most difficult brought Son Of Attah to the world of music and put his name on the radars of music professionals who were captivated by his talent, and eagerly awaited to see whether he could achieve success in the business or not. But, following the release of his first single, Son Of Attah was able to put off the release of more tracks and focused on developing the skills of his songwriting and fine-tuning the sound. Still, he was in the studio frequently to make music but wasn’t pushing the songs out.

At this point, Son Of Attah was able to meet American rapper The Game who was a friend of his through Instagram. The Game was a fan of The Game and took an interest in The Game’s and Son Of Attah‘s talent following a few of his freestyle videos on Instagram. That’s the reason the Game held the official release concert of ” Don Jazzy Said He Can’t Sign Me” on his Instagram page. Additionally, it’s not surprising it was the Son Of Attah‘s single, Fentyand Burberry has made it onto the playlist of The Game‘s music playlist.
