Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe (born 1 May 1994) is better known under the nickname, Kizz Daniel is a Nigerian musician and singer. He became famous in 2014 when he released his debut single ” Woju”. He was known by his Stage name Kiss Daniel prior to changing his stage name in May 2018.[3 He signed a contract in 2013 with G-Worldwide Entertainment 2013 but left the company following a well-publicized contract dispute as well as a court case.[4He established Fly Boy Inc in November 2017. On the 8th of August, 2022 Kizz Daniel was detained in Dar es Salaam by the Tanzanian police force for failing to comply with the law.

Kizz Daniel was born Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, a native of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.[9He is from the Abeokuta North local government area. He went to Abeokuta Grammar School and graduated from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2013, with a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology (Water Engineering). While studying at his university studies, he chose to pursue a music profession in addition to his studies.

Career

In May 2015, Kizz Daniel released a third single from his follow-up album, “Laye,” on his birthday. He also released the video two weeks after that was shot in various locations across the eastern region of Africa and produced by AJE FILMS. Daniel released his debut studio album, titled The New Era the 14th of May in 2016.

Following his departure from his label G-WorldWide He decided to launch his own label FLYBOY I.N.C. which recently signed two new artists, Demmie Vee, and Philkeyz. Following that, Kizz Daniel appeared on the Demmie Vee single titled “You Go Wait?”.

The year 2018 was definitely a successful year for Kizz Daniel, the WOJU singer, as he teamed up with Wizkid on the hit song “FOR YOU” and Davido on a different song “One Ticket” which hit the charts within 24 hours of the release. On December 30, 2018, Kizz Daniel debuted his second Studio album, and also his first album under FlyBoy Inc titled “No Bad Songz”.

The album included 20 tracks including One Ticket, a pre-released single featuring Davido. Other tracks on the album included Nasty C Diamond Platiumz Philkeyz Demmie Vee Dj Xclusive, Wretch 32, Diplo, and Sarkodie. The album was praised by music enthusiasts, and it was released at No. 55 on the US iTunes Chart and became the number one worldwide album Chart within the first 24 hours of its launch. On the 25th of June, 2020, he launched”King of Love,” his 3rd studio album, ‘King of Love’

In 2017, a lot of people believed that the singer would change to comedy since comedians were uploading skits. However, he claimed there was no plan to change to comedy since music is his primary passion.

In 2022, for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Kizz Daniel will be performing his smash single “Buga” during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar He has also expressed that he would like to appear in the FIFA World Cup, which is scheduled to begin on the 20th of November, 2022 He also updated regarding whether he’ll appear at the world’s most prestigious football event.

Label dispute over the name of the record and change

In November 2017, Kizz Daniel announced that he was separating from his record company, G-Worldwide and he founded his own label named FLYBOY I.N.C. In November 2017, he was subsequently sued by the former record label but was never found to be guilty of any of the offenses that he was accused of.

In May 2018, Kizz Daniel announced that the singer altered his stage name, from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel the name which was immediately reflected the name on social media pages. The brand new Spotify, as well as Apple Music accounts, were also made immediately under Kizz Daniel’s name. Kizz Daniel and his latest songs are being featured.

In June of 2018, Kizz Daniel’s former record label G-Worldwide moved to acquire ownership of the trademark “Kizz Daniel” and further instructed the singer to refrain from using that name or face legal penalties in a press statement sent out to media outlets. In October 2018, Daniel replied to the suit and the statement that was made by his old record label G-Worldwide by contacting the lawyer he owns. On April 8, 2022, Geezy, Emperor Geezy, as well as Daniel, resolved their differences outside of the court, with a viral video that was titled #Peace&Love.
