Niger State Government has flagged off the distribution of free seasonal malaria chemo prevention drugs.

Parents and caregivers of children who are below the age of five, converged on the Basic Health Care Center, Tunga, to benefit from the rare gesture.

The Commissioner for Health and Hospital Services, Dr. Muhammad Makusidi, who represented the governor, disclosed that the exercise would be ongoing in all the twenty-five Local Government Areas of the state.

The Governor appreciated the partners, who provided the necessary drugs and services, for the benefit of the people of the state.

He assured that his administration will not relent in its efforts to provide quality health care delivery, across the state.
