Travis Landon Barker (born November 14th, 1975) professionally known by the name Travis Barker, is an accomplished American musician and musician and. He is a musician who plays the drums for the rock group, Blink-182.

Travis Barker was born in Fontana, California, United States on the 14th of November, 1975. He was the son of American parents Gloria Barker (mother) and Randy Barker. He has two brothers; their names are Shanna Barker.

When he was four and old, his mother bought the boy his very first drum set. He was required to keep the drum set until at least 15. He started taking drum lessons at five along with Michael Mai, who is a drummer. Michael Mai exposed him to various drumming techniques.

When he entered junior high school, he started learning piano and trumpet and he joined the Madrigal’s Men as well as the Women’s Choir. Travis Barker also tried to become a surfer, however, all attempts were unsuccessful, and he was forced back to drumming which was something he loved so much. He speaks about his ability to express himself with drumming more than any other thing.

Travis Barker lost his mother to Sjogren syndrome just three months prior to his entry into high school. When she passed away she advised him to pursue his goals and be true to his passions.

In Fontana High School He was a member of the school’s marching bands. He had experience playing jazz but was attracted by hip-hop and rock punk.
