Rita Ora was born to Albanian parents on the 26th of November of 1990, located in Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia (modern-day Kosovo). Vera Ora, her mother is a psychiatrist her father Besnik Sahatciu is a proprietor of a bar who studied economics before.

The mother of her child is Catholic Her father is an alleged Muslim. She believes in spirituality but is not religious. Osman Bajraktari her maternal grandfather served as the Albanian consul for Russia (then part of the Soviet Union). Besim Sahatciu, Rita Ora‘s paternal grandfather was a theater and film director.

Rita Ora has a younger brother, named Don Ora and an elder sister called Elena Ora. Rita Sahatciu The surname is derived from the Turkish word saatci meaning “watchmaker”, but her parents later added Ora (which means “time” meaning ‘time’ Albanian) to the surname of their family to make it simpler to pronounce.

Her family emigrated from Kosovo to escape political persecution because of the persecution of Albanians that began following Yugoslavia’s fall. They relocated from Kosovo to London, England, when she was just a baby in 1991. Rita Ora grew up in Notting Hill, West London, and went to Sylvia Young Theatre Institution an arts and performing school.

What We Do (Party) came out as a single on August 12, 2012, and reached the top spot in both the United Kingdom and Ireland. This became Rita Ora‘s second number one within the UK as a solo artist, as well as her 3rd overall hit in 2012.
