OKEAJE IJEBUODE SOUTH IJEBUODE METROPOLIS IS SAFE. GO ABOUT YOUR NORMAL BUSINESSES. In the evening of Friday August 04, 2017, an incident occurred at the electronics section of Okeaje market. A soldier, a policeman in mufty & a man were at a radionic shop at Okeaje to complain of poor job execution. An argument ensued & in the process the soldier drew out a sharp knife & stabbed the Igboman radionic in the stomach & ran away on the bike that brought the three of them, pointing the blood stained dagger at the bike rider that was on standby. Other igbomen around pursued the policeman in mufti & had him beaten to a pulp. Both the wounded are in the hospital. This briefly caused a security scare at the council area.
