The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) embarked on its planned procession in the federal capital territory (FCT) on Tuesday despite a warning by the police.

The procession is an annual ritual by the religious organisation all over the world on September 10 known as the Ashura procession.

However, the protest was only held for 30minutes and no clash was reported.
