Vory (born on 17th August 1997, also known as “King Vory”) is a gifted American musician, rapper musician, singer, and singer born Tavoris Javon Hollins, Jr.

In addition to his many solo projects, including The album Lucky Me in 2018 and the hit single You Got It in 2019 In addition, he was awarded a Grammy for his work on the Carters’ (Jay-Z and Beyonce) track All Is Love.

Vory was awarded a second Grammy for his work on Kanye West‘s album Donda in 2021. He is a part of Capitol Records, Electric Feel Entertainment as well as musician Meek Mill‘s record company Dream Chasers Records.

Early Life & Education

Vory was born and raised in Houston, Texas, United States on the 17th of August 1997. After he reached 16 years old, he moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to reside with his father.

There, he got to know the musician, also Louisville resident Bryson Tiller, and began working with him.

Vory‘s previous affiliations with record labels comprised Derrick Washington, Sean Bowens, and Latasha Harrison All from Louisville as well as FPR Music Group.

Career

At the start of his professional career, Vory was the lyricist of American singers Drake, Beyonce, Jay-Z, and many other artists. In the final, Hollins received a Grammy for the lyrics he composed for the song The Carters. All is Love.

The first time that the music industry was aware of Vory took place in 2015 when he performed in Bryson Tiller‘s track Break Bread under his stage name King Vory. In addition, he wrote Bryson Tiller‘s Don’t Song, which debuted as a track on Bryson Tiller‘s debut album Trapsoul and reached the top spot at thirteen on the Billboard Hot 100.

In the year 2016, Vory started putting out songs of his own. He released tracks like Overdose as well as My Life A Movie, that featured Blu and were recorded in collaboration with Dun Deal. FPR Music Group later released his first Mixtape Overdose, in July of this year.

Then, in the same year, he moved to Los Angeles and began developing his current sound there. Boi-1da was a Canadian music producer from Canada and was a person who he eventually met and collaborated with on several tracks. The singer-songwriter released a number of singles in 2017, including the tracks were the tracks Try, Do That Shit along with Hold of Me. Zane Lowe gave the latter track his premiere with the station Beats 1 Radio.

Vory was awarded writing credits on numerous songs released in 2018, such as Canadian hip-hop artist Drake’s Mob Ties from his fifth album Scorpion and American duo The Carters’ Friends from their studio album together called The Carters’ Friends: Everything Is Love. The latter song went on to receive a Grammy for his contributions to it.

Vory released his debut EP, Lucky Me in August 2018, following his signing of Capitol Records and Electric Feel Management. On March 22, 2019, Rich the Kid‘s second studio album, The World Is Yours 2 was released the following the same day Vory released his new single, You Did It, and co-wrote with him and featured in.

It was his turn to join DreamChasers in June 2020. He released an EP titled Vory with the same name.

Vory appeared on the tracks God Breathed Jonah as well as No Child Left Behind from Kanye West’s album Ninth, Donda.

He demonstrated his talent on the drill track in April 2022. He also worked with American rapper Meek Mill on American Dream as well as on the track Changed On Me from Brooklyn-born rapper Fivio Foreign’s debut album B.I.B.L.E.

His debut album, Lost Souls with Kanye West was released in June 2022.
