Career

At the beginning of the year of 2018, Sheck Wes secured a coveted slot in the music industry with Kanye West’s GOOD Music and Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Records. Then the release, he appeared in Travis Scott’s album No Bystanders album, along with Juice Wrld, which is a track from the hitmaker’s critically-acclaimed Third studio album Astroworld.

On October 2nd that same year the rising star debuted his debut album Mudboy, with a lot of fanfare. In the typical fashion, Sheck Wes style, he released the album just three days later, leaving his fans wanting more.

Then in March the year 2019, Sheck Wes carried on to climb the ranks of music by releasing a brand new single titled YKTS that was released by the same label in conjunction with his album debut. After the release of Mudboy, he announced that he was working on his second album. Mudboy the singer announced that he was currently working on the second album of his studio, which is a tribute to his unwavering devotion to his art.

The rapper’s young age kept his momentum all through the season, performing on the stage for Eminem‘s concert in Hawaii in January of 2019 after which he dropped two fresh tracks, Sadio Mane and Losing My Mind on the 18th of July.

Personal Life

In January of 2019, Ridge Productions accused Sheck Wes of not paying the company for the music video for his forthcoming track Mudboy. In retaliation for the accusation,

The company released its own version edited of the clip, which contained a rewritten audio that ridiculed the alleged gangster and his associates for not adhering to the terms of the contract.

In the following year, Sheck Wes was caught on camera stalking his former partner, Justine Skye. This shocking accusation was also confirmed by his high school students who alleged that he’d shown an abusive attitude towards other females in the past.

In April of 2019, Sheck Wes began dating India Love and they have been in the news for a dispute in June of 2020. India Love posted a picture on social media with a black eye, which suggested abuse from her following their breakup which he has denied.

In the wake of serious allegations against him, Sheck Wes was ejected from a campaign to promote Major League Soccer, and Justine Skye was reported to have requested an order of restraining against Sheck Wes. The rapper GoldLink has publicly condemned and criticized him for the allegations of abuse. Sheck wes was later arrested on charges related to guns and drugs in New York in May 2020.
