Taurus Tremani Barlett (born on January 6, 1999) is well-known by his stage name Polo G. He is a talented young American musician and rapper.

The young star ascended to fame with his single titled Finer Things as well as another track in which he teamed up with fellow young artist Lil Tjay in a track called, Pop Out and was released in 2019.

The album he released was called, Die a Legend and received much positive feedback, and was rated as 6th on the US Billboard 200. The album was also recognized by RIAA.

Career

The years 2018-2019 was the first year of a brand new star, dubbed Polo G. The talented artist’s debut track, ODAwas uploaded to YouTube. Following that, he decided to join Soundcloud which is where he released his own music track, “Gang With Me” and received hundreds of player plays, positive feedback and millions of views.

However, he’s not stopping in his tracks, he decided to release two songs, “Welcome Back” as well as Neva Carried. Another song he wrote that made fans smile with its beauty was The Finer Things which received millions of viewers.

In the year 2019, Polo G collaborated with Lil Tjay to drop Pop Out, which ranked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, the track also received more than 200 million views on YouTube and was able to sign the talented young artist an exclusive record deal for Columbia Records.

7th of June, 2019. Polo G released his debut album entitled Die A Legend with the album ranked number 6 on the US Billboard 200.

2020: Goat Album and ODA Records

On Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2020, Polo G was a part of the Stunna4Vega, NLE Choppa to drop their hit track, Go Stupid the song, which was ranked sixty-sixth in the Hot 100 and was placed 20th among the Hot Rap Songs and ranked 29th on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

May 15, 2020. The album was released on May 15, 2020. entitled, the Goat, which came in 2nd place on The US Billboard 200, and 10 songs from The Goat album were ranked on the Hot 100.

In September of 2020 Polo G launches his own record label, ONLY Dreamers Achieve (ODA) With Scorey as his first signee.

Talent

Polo G was initially known for his sound drill, but later he switched to a more melodic sound. The songs he sings are full of stories that highlight the issue of mental health.
