Odunlade Adekola was a student at St. John’s Primary School and St. Peter’s College in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and then completed his West African School Certificate Examination. He then went through Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) and was awarded an award of the diploma.
Odunlade Adekola continued to pursue his education. In May 2018, he earned an undergraduate degree in Bachelors in Administration in Business Administration from the University of Lagos.
Odunlade Adekola began his acting career in the year 1996 The same year when he was a part of the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts practitioners. He has appeared in written, produced, and directed numerous Nigerian films.
The month of April was 2014 when Odunlade Adekola was awarded the Africa Movie Academy Award for the best actor.
