Daniel Seavey became determined and began learning music at the tender 7 years old. He was able to play various instruments, including guitar, cello as well as bass, piano drums Ukulele as well and Mandolin.

As a youngster, Daniel usually accompanied his father to listen to music in the streets during art walking in Portland.

He made it to the final 12 in which he performed Paula Abdul‘s “Straight Up” for a second time and was then voted among the top eleven.

He was eliminated in the last stage which happened to be a day before his birthday on April 1st, 2015. However, that was not enough to hinder Daniel Seavey from becoming the man he was meant to be.

After he was eliminated from this year’s American Idol competition, Daniel Seavey began singing song covers and uploading the songs on YouTube.

A group called ” Why Don’t We” immediately attracted the talented young singer Daniel Seavey in the year 2016. The group comprised of five young men including Jack Avery, Jonah Marais, Corbyn Besson, Zach Herron, and him, released their debut single in October 2016 entitled “Taking You.” Furthermore, they released their debut album on the 25th of November 201,6. It’s titled “Only Beginning.”

Why Don’t We continued to release new EPs ” Something Different,” ” Invitations,” and ” Why Don’t We.”

The band then released their debut album ” 8 Letters” on August 31st, 2018. The album was a huge success within the music industry and it was a top pick on Billboard’s top ten chart of pop songs.

Daniel Seavey also has an acting talent and has appeared in television shows like Dark and Brody in 2019 in which he played the role that he played as chef Boi D.
