Kukere crooner Iyanya has finally revealed why he parted ways with his former friend and business partner Ubi Franklin.

The singer in a chat with Bolanle Olukanni for Ndani TV has revealed that he was betrayed by Ubi his partner

who also doubled as his manager during their period together.

According to Iyanya, while he saw himself as Ubi’s partner, it was a terrible thing for him to realize that he was just a partner by mouth.

He revealed that nothing on paper showed him as a partner and Co owner of the business.

“I co owned with Ubi but later realized that my name was not on any of the documents”

Iyanya further confessed that this was a very tough time for him in his career

and he almost lost everything as he made the decision to throw everything away and start afresh.
