People would do not have intentions of travelling have been warned to stay away from airports when they are reopened.

The warning was given by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) in a Twitter post today.

The agency further noted that persons intending to pick up arriving passengers should wait in their vehicles until the passenger exits the airport entrances.

“Non-travelling passengers will not be allowed into the Airport Terminal Buildings.

“People coming to pick up arriving passengers are advised to remain in their cars until passengers exit the gate. Stay safe,” the tweet read.
