Biography

Akinsola Usman popularly known by his stage name Hussien, is a talented afrobeat artiste from South Western Nigeria. He grew up in a Muslim home and, as such, can be said to be very religious. He schooled in his city and has familiarized himself with the culture of afrobeats over the years. His talent grew and he eventually decided to do music professionally. He has released a couple of songs over the years and currently has a hit single out there, making waves titled Dollars featuring his talented counterparts Wizka and Rybeena

Career

Hussien has been an independent artist over the years, although he is open to a deal,but at the moment, he is currently his own management and promoter. His career choices left him making hard decisions, such as deciding to stay in the country for other activities or totally focusing on music internationally. He has worked with other prominent up-and-coming artists in the industry and he is looking to collaborate with the likes of Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid ,and Victony on the long run.

Hussien’s passion for music runs deep. From a young age, he has been captivated by rhythm and melody, which led him to join a music band during his early years. This early exposure helped shape his distinctive sound and fueled his dream of becoming a professional artist.
