IS 9MOBILE LACKING GOOD PROGRAMING OR JUST A SCAM IN DISGUISE?

 

9mobile is a telecom company that took over from Etisalat Nigeria. I don’t know what to make out of their irregularities, did they inherit massive debt from their previous owners? Because it is becoming appalling the rate at which the services of the new 9mobile deducts your money no matter how small it is, for example check out the screen munch. A message was sent to STOP the renewal of a particular service, and a confirmation message was sent by 9mobile confirming the cancellation of the said service but then, few hours later, money was deducted and it was for the renewal of the said service that was “cancelled” by 9mobile.

This is just one provable incident out of many. Sometimes you recharge and before you can make use of what the money is used for, deductions f various kinds have been made. I really think some of these services are pre-installed with your 9mobile sim. Other service providers have their flaws but this one is just uncalled for.

My Advice?

9mobile should revisit their programming aspect just incase they will come to the public to claim these are all programming errors.

Stick to the customary way of advertising value added services. Don’t just auto-subscribe customers, you do not make their money for them.

Imagine a struggling students who needed to use his lunch money to buy 200 airtime for data and starve just to make his online researches, and just as he loads, boom…N20 is deducted for something he knows nothing about, now left with N180, can’t do a reasonable data plan with that, just as he thinks of what to do to get an extra N100 to buy another recharge card which is now a must, boom another text from 9mobile deducting N50 for another service.

How frustrating can that be? All fingers are not equal, so if you have your way, sort out customers that can really afford this nonsense. Not all Nigerians can.

Your Programs Favour Selected Sims

For example, 9mobile has a data program which gives you 1gig for N200 and it lasts for three days. This is very good, until we found out that it works on selected sim. Not by package, not by subscription, if you’re unlucky, you’re unlucky. Not good. Do the same for the unlawful removal of money. Thank you.
