in 2015 Johnny Drille did a cover of the song Awww by Di’ja. It was a hit and caught the attention of the top music industry executive, Don Jazzy. Don Jazzy approached Johnny Drille, and they started working together to perfect his style. In the end, the rapper released his first single, Wait For Me in the year 2015.

Then, he joined his female co-worker, Niniola, and recorded the track, “Start Over. This was in 2016. Then, in 2017, the singer released the top-charting song, Romeo and Juliet which helped Johnny Drille‘s fame grow across the globe. The song which is an ode to love, gained many fans and was the number-one song for lovers across the nation.

Johnny Drille collaborated with Simi for the recording of the single Hallelujah which had the same success as Romeo and Juliet. The single was released in 2018.

After a long period of working, Johnny Drille released his debut album, Before We Fall asleep on September 3rd, 2021. Although it’s only been a couple of weeks since the album’s debut the album has already been a commercial hit and has been receiving massive broadcasts on radio stations as well as television stations across the country and collecting thousands of streams online.
