Wizkid, Davido Set To Headline Concert At 02 Arena
It would have been tagged a new level of their rivalry had it happened even last year but with the relationship they have now, no one is raising as eye brow as Nigerian music star, Davido, get set to follow in the footsteps of Wizkid by headlining a concert at the O2 Arena in London.
After Wizkid headlined the sold-out Afrorepublik concert at London’s 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in May, Davido said: “My brother did it, I am about to do it too” and it seems the arrangement is well in place now.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the “IF” singer went religious by writing: “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains” before adding “January 27, 2019, we shut down the O2 Arena. I can’t do this without y’all. Africa lets go!” Wizkid was said to have made 385,100,071 million naira from his Afrorepublik Concert.
The concert of 20,000 seat capacity was sold out before the event day, and wizkid let his fans knows about his joy in his instagram post, where he opens that he just sold his first Festival.
But very few of us knows how much he actually made.
The event tickets was sold at ÂŁ40 per ticket. That is 40Ă—20,000 = 800,000 pounds.
If you convert that to Naira you will get N385,100,071.20.
Now you know the financial value of such a heavy show in the heartbeat of London.
