Early Life and Career
Raquel Bennington was born the 5th of September on 1988 at Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States.
Pennington’s passion for athletics began in her early years when she began to try her boxing and basketball and other sports. Then she started to train in MMA and competing in the amateur circuit between 2009 until 2011. In 2012, she was able to make her debut as a professional in a fight against Kim Couture and won the fight by a TKO.
Prior to signing with the UFC she fought at Invicta Fighting Championships between 2012 and 2013. She also fought for Destiny MMA: Na Koa 1.

Raquel Pennington made her public debut on March 15th 14th, 2014, in UFC 171 against Jessica Andrade. Pennington lost the fight by decision.
In her second bout in the octagon, she beat Ashlee Evans-Smith via technically Submission (bulldog choke) on the 6th of December 2014 at UFC 181.
