Holly Holm’s Personal Life
Holly Holm was raised by her parents, Roger and Tammy, as well as their brother Weston Holm, with whom she has close friendships. There are no children in her family and she is not married as of yet. She did, however, marry her college friend Jeff Kirkpatrick from 2012 to 2020. They filed for divorce and she changed the name of her mother. The divorce was viewed as highly courteous, with neither of the parties asking for alimony or the absence of children from child support issues.

Holly Holm Career
Holm made her debut in mixed martial arts with Christina Domke on March 4 in 2011, in a show held by her boxing promoter, Lenny Fresquez. Holm as well as Jackson’s Submission Fighting colleague Keith Jardine made the most of the event. Holm was victorious with a TKO in the second round after her opponent was unable continue due to leg strikes by Holm. Holm came back to mixed martial on 9 September 2011 against Strikeforce veterans Jan Finney at Fresquez Productions: Clash in the Cage. Holm won via TKO at the end of round three, beating Finney.
Holm introduced her Bellator MMA fighter on Feb 28, 2013 in a fight against Katie Merrill at Bellator 91 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Holm was victorious by beating in the 2nd round. Holm declared that she would quit boxing following her fight with Mary McGee on May 11 2013 so that she could concentrate in the MMA career. The announcement sparked a flurry of talks to arrange the championship fight with Cecilia Holm and Cecilia Braekhus who is who is the Norwegian champion. Holm eventually defeated McGee by a unanimous decision in her final boxing bout.

Holm was back in the bantamweight division after his loss to the featherweight championship. Holm took on Bethe Correia in UFC Fight Night: Holm against. Correia in Singapore on the 17th of June 17, 2017. Holm defeated Correia during the 3rd round, using head kicks that knocked Correia down, then followed by striking. The win gave Holm her second reward for her Performance of the Night. This also set her up for the UFC 219 fight with UFC Featherweight Champion for Women, Cris Cyborg.
Holm made her return to women’s featherweight on the night of December 30th, 2017, and fought Cris Cyborg to an UFC Featherweight Championship in the main event at UFC 219. Holm was scheduled to fight Aspen Ladd in a bantamweight fight in the UFC 235 event. UFC 335 on March 2nd in 2019. On January 31st, 2019, it was announced that the pair will not be appearing on the card. Holm has reportedly signed six-fight contract in the UFC on the 20th of March. Holm was a fighter against Amanda Nunes for the Women’s bantamweight championship in UFC 239 on July 6 in 2019.
