The spokesman of the President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo, has denied the claim that he paid an amount running into “nine figures” to Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has given one condition under which a certificate of return would be issued to Rochas Okorocha, governor of Imo state. At a press conference held in Abuja, Festus Okoye, chairman of INEC information and voter education committee, said the commission will issue a certificate of return to Okorocha if directed by the court to do so.

The Super Eagles defeated Seychelles 3-1 on Friday in their final game of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series. The Super Eagles had already qualified for the tournament which will be staged in Egypt before the match, following a 1-1 draw against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in November.

Organisers of the event said the screening begins on tomorrow evening with a red carpet and opening night screening of ‘Up North’ at the historic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California.
