Rico Nasty‘s professional rap career began during her teens. Her debut album, The Summer’s Eve at the age of in her sophomore year at Charles Herbert Flowers High School (2014). After graduating from the high school level, she decided to dedicate her time and energy to her music career.

As 2016 came to an end her mixtapes were released: The Rico Story and Sugar Trap. In 2016 Rico Nasty‘s song, iCarly went to the top of the charts after receiving more than half one million viewers on YouTube in a relatively short time.

Additionally, she released a track called Hey Arnold that Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty remixed. In 2017, the two worked again on the track Mamacita which was featured as a track on the album The Fate of the Furious: The Album.

Rico Nasty released the fourth installment of her mixtape Stories of Tacobella at the end of April 2017. The album is her first to be available on shelves by September 10, 2020. The mixtape demonstrated her vocal talents according to the NME’s Kyann-Sian Wilkins who described the music as “indescribable and synth-heavy.” Rico Nasty‘s single Poppin was released in June of 2017 and quickly racked up more than 5 million hits on YouTube.

The song was also included in a segment of the HBO show Insecure. Sugar Trap 2 was Rico Nasty‘s fifth mixtape which was released in October of 2017. The famous Dex an artist, appeared on the mixtape. The critics of Rolling Stone rated the mixtape as one of the Top Rap Albums of 2017. After the year ended and she set off on the Sugar Trap Tour.

Then, in May of 2020 My Little Alien a song written and composed by Rico Nasty, was added to the Scoob! Soundtrack. It was announced that the Recording Industry Association of America awarded her single from 2017 “Smack A Bitch” the Gold award in June 2020 due to its sales of greater than 500,000 copies across the U.S.

On June 20, 2020, Rico Nasty released the track Dirty as a part of the soundtrack to Insecure. HBO program “Insecure.”. She collaborated with Colombian-American singer Kali Uchis on the song Aqu Yo Mando, which is the opening track of Kali Uchis’ second studio album Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonos). The track was released on the 7th of August, 2020. (2020).

Rico Nasty reportedly became pregnant with the first of her children around 18 years old. The birth of her very first child, a boy named Cameron was born while she was in her final year at high school.

After she began to gain recognition for her music, Rico Nasty was fired as a receptionist in a hospital, and her boss, Malik Foxx began to purchase equipment for production. She also revealed her secret to The
