Chukwuebuka O’Uchendu (born July 14th, 1982) professionally known informally as Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is a famous Nigerian lawyer and media star. He is most famous for his role as a host in Big Brother Naija‘s popular reality show.

The family was born in Edo, Nigeria, he graduated from the University of Abuja with an undergraduate diploma in Law. He worked as a lawyer number of years prior to pursuing an interest in media. He has hosted a variety of TV shows and is currently the host of Big Brother Naija.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is a well-known persona of Nigeria and is often regarded as an example for children. He has been a vocal advocate for changes in society and has utilized his platform to increase awareness of the nation’s most pressing issues. He is also adored for his agbada as well as his fashion sense. He owns a fleet of cars.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu was born on the 14th of July 1982 to a banker father chief Ezeagada who was from Okija, the chief of Okija,and their mother who was an employee in a hospital that was a public medical facility located situated in Benin City, Edo State. He is the fourth child of four. There is an elder sister and an older brother and an older brother. His older sister is called Iphie Obi-Uchendu.

He finished his primary and primary schooling within the town of Benin located in Central Nigeria and, amazingly, passed the secondary school entrance test in the first grade of Primary 4. Then the family moved to Abuja the capital of Nigeria.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu completed his secondary education in Abuja’s Christ The King College before enrolment at the University of Abuja in 1997, and finishing in 2004. He graduated in 2005 and was awarded his diploma at his university, the Nigerian Law School in Bwari, Abuja.

After finishing his education at the Nigerian Law School, Bwari in Abuja in 2005, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returned to his school. In December 2010, he was awarded the Master of Laws degree from the Washington College of Law of the American University in Washington, DC, specializing in communications and intellectual property law through the Law and Government program.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu took part in the inaugural season of the cult reality show Big Brother Naija in 2006 as one of 14 housemates. He was the 8th person to be kicked out of the show. The present housemate is the most popular and successful BBNaija housemate to this point. In January of 2017, He was picked for hosting each of Big Brother Naija’s third and second seasons.

Following the reality show that aired in the year 2006 Ebuka Obi-Uchendu was offered sponsorship contracts with a major telecoms company and a well-known brewery company. In the end, he hosted Friends and Foe on NTA and The GLO Show on NTA, and Guinness’ Greatness TV.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu also wrote the weekly column”Contrast With This Day Newspaper for more than four years. He also wrote for other magazines, including What’s New and Ace Magazines.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu was announced as”the new host” of the Nigerian TV chat show “Rubin’ Minds in 2013.

In 2013, the producers of Rubbin’ Minds the Nigerian talk show on television announced that host Obi-Uchendu would become the new host.

In 2013, Obi Uchendu became one of the co-hosts on The Spot, a show on TV broadcast on DSTV together with Lamide Akintobi and Zainab Balogun.

In July of 2016, he was named the presenter for Men’s Corner, Nigeria’s first TV show that is exclusively male talk show.

Personal Life

Ebuka Obi Uchendu made a proposal to the HR Manager Cynthia Obianodo in Lagos on the 15th of April 2015. On February 6, 2016, they were wed in Abuja.

The couple had a daughter who was named Jewel O’Uchendu on the 8th of November 2016. In 2018 the couple announced on Instagram that they were expecting another child. Their second child, which was a girl is given the name “Rubie Obi-Uchendu”.
