Recently, it was discovered that the Instagram accounts of Yomi Fabiyi was compromised, and the actor admitted that it had a negative impact on his career. According the actor the account was compromised around the time he began his Europe Fans Appreciation Tour.

There was an incident in 2017 when an actress from the past, Eniola Omoshalewa Eunice, was accused Fabiyi of asking for sexual sex as a condition of obtaining a film part from her.

According to Eunice she was extremely enthusiastic about acting and was thrilled to meet him. He said he would include her in a film the next day.

The woman then explained that the actor went one step further by telling her that they wouldn’t be sharing rooms when they arrive at the venue in Ikorodu. After she turned down his offer, Fabiyi took her to the expressway to Ketu.

Then, Fabiyi rejected the accusations and promised to seek justice. In actual fact, the next day the actor took the Instablog9ja’s management, Instablog9ja, and the actress to court , and demanded N15 million in damages for defamation of the character.
